Minority Discount: A discount applied to the value of a non-controlling interest in a non-publicly traded company to show that a minority interest has less value than a controlling interest.

Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plan: Contractual arrangement that promises to pay executives some future benefits. Does not qualify for favorable tax treatment, but has fewer restrictions than qualified plans. Unsecured and subject to risks. Must remain "unfunded" to avoid being taxed.
